Book Detail
The worst cages are the ones you stop trying to escape.
Saelora has spent countless moments drained at the end of a needle, her blood harvested to satiate the vampires’ thirst. Chosen as the prince’s pet, Saelora is thrust into a court steeped in deadly intrigue, where the privileged few taste human fears as readily as veins, and desire and degradation share the same bitter edge. Beneath marble halls, rebellion stirs—and with it, a cellist whose blade proves as sharp as his bow.
Still, survival can become the cruelest curse of all.
From shadows, another watches—one whose hands drip both loyalty and blood, haunted by the screams of those he’s condemned. Years of dutiful violence have left him seeking the sweet release that only death might offer, yet fate denies him even this escape.
Some monsters are born. Some are made. And some are waiting just beneath the skin.
In the end, everyone must choose which monster to become.

Meet The Author: Stella & Vincent Lunaire
We met each other when Stella was twelve and Vincent was fourteen, but life took us in separate directions. When we found each other again years later, everything clicked when Vincent quoted Annabel Lee in conversation, and Stella effortlessly recited the next line. That sent Vincent’s little heart pounding so hard that anyone could have heard it through floorboards.
Between D&D campaigns (where Stella’s chaotic neutral characters regularly derail Vincent’s careful plotting) and card games (where Vincent once sabotaged Stella’s hand of spoons by announcing the exact cards she needed), we built both a partnership and a world we couldn’t stop exploring.
More than a decade later, we share our life in Arkansas with two wonderful and chaotic kids, three precious, friends-for-life pups, and two stubborn, yet cuddly, cats. We are always searching for our next adventure until we build our eternal home along the Night’s Plutonian shore.
